Eugene (Gino) Chavez

Eugene (Gino) Carl Chavez, age 59, lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2019, peacefully at home surrounded by his family.  He is survived by his sons, E.J. Chavez and girlfriend, Alexandria, Isaac L. Chavez; grandson, Christopher L. Chavez;  father, Jimmy S. Chavez; sisters, Christine Chavez and husband, Louie, Karen Torres and husband, Ralph; his cousin and best bud, Ralph Barela as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Mr. Chavez was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Mary Chavez and brothers, James Chavez Jr. and Leroy Chavez.

A Visitation will be Friday, November 8, 2019 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, with a Funeral service to be held at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow services at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Angelica Ortiz, Santiago Chavez, Robert Gonzales, Ralph Barela, Marcos Torres and Alex Torres.  Honorary Pallbearers will be David Chavez, Ralph Torres Jr., James Torres and Antonio Ortiz.
