Eva M. Griego, age 91, born December 07, 1923, formerly of Mountainair, NM and a resident of Albuquerque, went to be with Our Lord, Wednesday, June 10, 2015.  Mrs. Griego is survived by her  daughter, Gloria Chavez; sisters, Mabel Otero, Dicloria Sandoval and husband, Benny, and Mela Anderson; grandchildren, Vencent Griego and wife Anathea, Steven Griego and wife, Rebecca, Geneva Griego, Raul Chavez and wife, Bernadette, Celina Garcia and husband, Angelo, Michael Chavez and wife, Brittany, Monica Abeyta and husband, P.J.; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Chavez and A.J., Maribel Chavez, Sherysse Garcia, Alexandria Griego, Amri  Griego, Ariel Griego,  Ozzy Griego, Lucus Griego, Sharon Jackson, Brooklyn Griego, Damascus Lee, Diana Griego, Tristin Chavez,  and Sophia Chavez; great-great-granddaughter, Jaylynn Moralez;  many nieces nephews cousin, and friends; special pets, Cesar, Rusty , and Sugie.  Mrs. Griego was preceded in death by her husband, Miguel Griego; sons, Miguel Griego Jr. , and Gerald Griego; companion, Celso Hart Lucero; parents, Melcor and Alejandra (Chana) Marquez; sisters, Concepcion, Tomasita, Luisita, Elvira, Felicita, Manuelita, and Maria; brothers, Dolores, Eduardo, and Gabriel.   Visitation will be Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Church of the Ascension Catholic Church from 3:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 4:00 p.m. by Willie and Vilma Sanchez.  Final visitation will be Monday, June 15, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Vencent Griego, Raul Chavez, Michael Chavez, Angelo Garcia, P.J. Abeyta, and Rafael Chavez.  Honorary pallbearers will be Tristin Chavez and Steven Griego.  The family would like to thank Rafael Chavez, Vicki Cummings, Brenda Gleason, Monica Bolden, Maureen Senko and the staff at Hospice of the Sandia's for their unwavering friendship and support.
