Felicita Lucero

Felicita Lucero (Baca), age 85, lifelong resident of the Barelas neighborhood in Albuquerque, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018.  Mrs. Lucero is survived by her son, George Lucero; daughter, Maxine Vega and husband, Pete; twenty-one grandchildren, forty-four great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Lucero was preceded in death by her parents, Emilio and Felicita Baca; her beloved husband, Raymond Lucero; daughters, Deborah Martinez and Dorothy Henry; son, David Lucero; brothers, Emilio and Don Baca; sisters, Alice Sanchez, Mary Escobedo and Stella Barela.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, May 23, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW.  A final visitation will be held, Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Victory Outreach Church, 435 Jefferson St. SE, a funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will follow services at Mount Calvary Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be George Lucero, Pete Vega, Ray Martinez, Nathan Ernest, David Fajardo and Jacob Fajardo.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Justin Ernest, Jason Ernest, Anthony Vega and Chris Vega.
