Fidencio (Fidy) P. Romero, age 78, born in Seboyeta, NM and a resident of Albuquerque, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2015. Fidy is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years, Gloria; children, Debra V. Sandoval and husband, Lawrence, James Zacarias Romero and partner, Delphine Dale, Patricia Lynn Garcia and fiance, Steve Sanchez, and Eloy Romero and girlfriend, Anne Armijo; brother, Reyes Romero; sister, Frances Brock; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 22, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal Rd. SW with a Rosary to be recited at 8:30 a.m.; Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Private disposition will take place at a later date. We will always remember Fidy by the smile on his face; we were blessed to have him for seventy-eight years; may he rest in peace.
