Florence R. Urquidez, age 72, born in Belen, NM and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Monday, January 11, 2016.  Mrs. Urquidez is survived by her husband, Art;  daughter, Judith(Jude) Quintana and husband, Jonathan; step children, Art Urquidez Jr., and Gerald Urquidez; sisters, Ramona Chavez, and husband, Alfred, Gloria Rogers and husband, Bill, Mary Gutierrez, and Dorothy Garcia; brother, Gene Vallejos and wife, Peggy; grandchildren, Jenesis Moncallo, Jena Dixon and husband, Aaron, Joshua Quintana, and Jacob Quintana; great-grandchildren, Nicholas Torres, Ashley Moncallo, Jayde and Jovan Quintana, Greenlee and Sienna Dixon; step grandchildren, Aaron, Austin, Jacob, Jarod, Joshua Urquidez; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Mrs. Urquidez was preceded in death by her parents, Alferes and Adelaida Vallejos; son, Herman Vigil; daughter, Karen Vigil; and grandson, Jared Moncallo.  Visitation will be Wednesday, January 13, 2016 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.  Final visitation will be Thursday, January 14, 2016  from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at St. Edwin Catholic Church, 2105 Barcelona SW with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. , Father Bijoy Francis, presider. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Jon Quintana, Joshua Quintana, Jacob, Quintana, Aaron Dixon, Art Urquidez Jr., Jerry Urquidez, and Austin Urquidez.  Honorary pallbearers will be her sisters and brother.
