Floyd was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Milton and Adellia Guest on February 3, 1952. He was one of four brothers and three sisters. He was preceded in death by his brother Jimmy Lucero, his father Milton Guest, his brother Rick Guest, and his mother Adellia Guest.
Floyd will be greatly missed by his wife of over 41 years, Debra Guest, and their children, Jessica (a.k.a. Smess) Martinez (and Patrick Martinez), Adrian (a.k.a. Bo) Guest (and Susan Guest), Rebecca (a.k.a. Motor) Guest, and Andrea (a.k.a. Fred) Jacquez (and Dezi Jacquez) along with his grandchildren, Alexis, Sara, Mia, Ezra and Gabrielle.
He is survived by his sisters Dolores Fromm (and Leroy Garcia), Sandra Montoya (and Leo Webb), his brother Dennis Guest and his youngest sister Angie Trujillo (and Mike Gabaldon) along with his nieces and nephews.
Floyd was a loyal friend to many and will be missed by his lifelong friends, Dale Martinez, Gene Nunn, Herman Serna, Robert Maldonado, and many more.
Floyd was a loyal husband, a loving father and grandfather, a brother, an uncle and a best friend. When asked to describe him, his children and grandchildren listed these qualities: Loving, Hardworking, Honest, Expressive, Dependable, Selfless, Warmhearted, Creative, Poetic, Funny, Affectionate, Inventive, Humble, Talented, and he could make anyone laugh. Floyd really was an impactful, irreplaceable man, we love him so much and he will be truly missed.
