Frederick ( Freddie) P. Montoya, age 49,  a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Friday, January 13, 2017.  Mr. Montoya is survived by his wife of twenty five years, Adele; sons, Matthew I. Montoya and fiancée, Angela N. Chavez, Frederick P. Montoya ll, Aaron Christopher Montoya; mother in law, Gloria Martinez; siblings, Juanita M. Montoya, Manuel P. Montoya lll and wife, Elizabeth, Hope P. Montoya and Alfred Martinez; sister in law, Amanda Ramirez and husband, Antonio, Andrea Garcia and husband, Franko.  Numerous, beloved nieces and nephews, that he held dear to his heart along with cousins and friends; his father, Manuel Montoya II. Frederick was preceded in death by his  mother; Anita Montoya; brother, Martin A. (Buddy)  Montoya; father in law, Gerald Martinez.  Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church 562 Atrisco Drive S.W. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00p.m. by  Veronica Montoya. Final visitation will be Friday, January 20, 2017  from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m.at Holy Family Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at  9:00a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery,1900 Edith Blvd. NE. Honorary pallbearers will be Gerald Ramirez, Manuel P. Montoya lV, Buddy M. Montoya, Anthony Fair, Savannah Montoya, Fernando Mata, and Ben Gutierrez.
