Gabriel Chavez, age 55, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016. Gabriel is survived by his beloved wife of thirty-seven years, Sara;  his father, Gabe Chavez; children, Reynada Alexander and husband, Deaven, Jeremy Chavez and wife, Monique, Thomas Chavez and wife, Erica; grandchildren, Javon, Jeremy Jr., Jaylah, and Jordan; father in law and mother in law, Ray and Tommie Rosas; siblings, Donna Benavidez and husband, John, Jesse Chavez,  and Charles Chavez; brother in law, Ronald Rosas and wife, Paula; sister in law, Mary Rosas and Gina Galindo; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Gabriel was preceded in death by his mother, Manuela Nellie Chavez. Visitation will be Sunday, July 17, 2016 in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 4:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 5:00 p.m.  Final visitation will  Monday, July 18, 2016 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal Rd. SW from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. with a Communion Service to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. , Deacon Pablo LeFebre, presider.  Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Ronald Rosas, David Candelaria, Charles Chavez, Vince Garcia, John Benavidez, Gina Galindo, and Jesse Chavez.
