Gabriel Sanchez

Gabriel Sanchez, age 59, born in Clovis, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on December 23, 2020.  Mr. Sanchez  is survived by his wife of twenty nine years, Cynthia Sanchez; daughter, Jaclyn Brown and husband, Michael; son Robert Sanchez; granddaughter, Natalie Brown; siblings, Julio Sanchez and wife, Gloria, Irene Serna and husband, Joe, Ray Sanchez, Martha Castillo, Phillip Sanchez, Fred Sanchez, Lucy Orozco, Kenneth Sanchez and wife, Debbie; mother in-law, Beatriz Garley; sister in-law Debby Garley Williams and husband, Mike; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Mr. Sanchez was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Sanchez; father in-law Eloy Garley Jr.; Godson, Michael Sanchez.  He proudly served the City of Albuquerque as a firefighter with the Albuquerque Fire department.  A walk through Visitation to the public will be at 5:00pm January 6, 2021 at Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9;00am on January 7, 2021 at Nativity of the Blesed Virgin Mary Church, 9502 4th st NW. Albuquerque, NM. 87114, with the burial to follow to Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Marcus Casias, Mike Sedillo, Michael Brown, Freddie Sanchez, Jesse Sanchez, Mark Garcia.

Due to the State of New Mexico COVID-19 mandates the Rosary is restricted to the immediate only that can remain in the chapel. The family of Mr. Sanchez have arranged for all those to join them in a virtual gathering in his memory, that  will begin at 5:50pm on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. Please click on link below;
