George Trujillo

George Michael Trujillo age, 74, born in Santa Fe, New Mexico and resident of Albuquerque, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2018.   George attended Saint Michaels College in Santa Fé and moved to Los Angeles with his wife where he attended LA Trade Tech and studied metallurgy.  In New Mexico, he attended Albuquerque Technical Vocational Institute (CNM).  He was an avid tinsmith, studied and followed the practices of our saints.  He enjoyed working in these two fields, enjoyed life and will be missed by many.Mr. Trujillo is survived by his loving wife, LaVern M.; daughters, Karen Montano and husband, Richard, Katie Trujillo; sisters, Rae Desmond and husband, Reggie, Becky Hillman and husband, Greg, Doreen Lowery and husband, Dusty; brothers, Santiago Trujillo, Pablo Trujillo and wife, Mabel; grandchildren, Marisol Montano and Joaquin Montano; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  George was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Ida Trujillo and siblings, Jose Enrique, Stella and Ernie Trujillo.

A visitation will be held Monday, August 27, 2018 from 7:45 a.m. until 8:15 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW, a Rosary will be recited at 8:15 a.m. and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m.  A committal service will be held at a later date.
