ALARCON, GERALD,  born April 13, 1960, age 54, passed away  Wednesday,  March 4, 2015.  Gerald was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend; he will be truly missed by all those who knew him.   Gerald is survived by his wife of thirty-eight years, Diane Leathers-Alarcon;  daughters, Janelle Garcia, and husband Charles, Geralynn, and  Cheri; grandson, Charlie;  granddaughter Angelique; his siblings,  Mary Helen Alarcon and husband, Edmundo Trevizo, Daniel Alarcon and wife, Dolores, and Ignacio Alarcon; mother in law,  Juanita G. Leathers;  and an abundance of nieces and nephews.  Gerald was preceded in death by his father, Ismael A. Alarcon; mother,  Tillie C. Alarcon; brother,  Manual Lee Hernandez; sister, Edwina Borgel;  brother, Ismael “Mayito” Alarcon; and father in law, David C. Leathers.  Gerald’s “Life Celebration” will begin with  visitation from  6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.  Monday, March 9, 2015 in the  Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.  Final visitation will be Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Santuario de San Martin de Porras  Catholic Church, 8321 Camino San Martin SW at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Vidal Tapia, David Prawdzik, Ismael “Lee” Alarcon, Dominic Molina, Alonso Rivera and Alex Garcia.  Honorary pallbearers will be Rito Alarcon, Jason Montoya, David Martinez and Cesar Alarcon.
