Gloria Marie Montoya, wife, mother, and grandmother, received her eternal reward on September 10, 2016. She rests now in the arms of a loving and merciful God.  Gloria was born June 23, 1934 in Santa Rosa, New Mexico to Julian Hoehne and Teresa Baca Hoehne.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joe R. Montoya; brother, Charles Hoehne; and sister, Esther Romero. Mrs. Montoya is survived by her children, Lynn Cheek and husband, Larry, Daniel Montoya and wife Annette, Carrie Montoya, Jacquelyn Montoya-Reeve; brother, Julian E. Hoehne and wife, Marcella; grand children, John David Cheek, Lisa Cheek, Lindsay Montoya, Michael Montoya, Anthony Montoya-Reeve, Joseph Montoya-Reeve, Christiana Montoya-Reeve;  and great-grandson, Solomon Montoya. Her dedication to family and her Catholic faith were the guiding lights of her life and she leaves a legacy marked by devotion and loyalty to both.  Visitation will be Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.  at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos Rd. NW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.   Final visitation will be Friday, September 16, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church from 8:30 a.m. until 8:50 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at  Mt. Calvary Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be John David Cheek, Michael Montoya, Anthony Montoya-Reeve, Joseph Montoya-Reeve, Richard Hoehne, and Martin Hoehne.
