Guadalupe Trujillo

Guadalupe C. Trujillo (Chavez), age 81, lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018.  Mrs. Trujillo is survived by her beloved husband, Edmund; children, Esther Trujillo, Roseann Trujillo, Edmund Trujillo Jr. and Karen Romero, Candy Nelson and husband, Steve, Gilbert Augustine Trujillo and wife, Rhonda, Jackie Trujillo, Norman Trujillo and wife, Deborah; brother, Moises Chavez; brother-in-law, Michael Martinez and wife, Liz; grandchildren, Steven Trujillo, Nickolas Trujillo, Edmund Trujillo III, Crystal Madrid, Christopher Nelson, Francisco Nelson, Monique Whitney, Augustine Trujillo, Justin Trujillo, Teddy Gonzalez, Joseph Gonzalez, Norman Trujillo Jr., Desiree Trujillo; twenty-three great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.   Mrs. Trujillo was preceded in death by her daughter, Nieves Trujillo, granddaughter, Stephanie Saiz; grandsons, Frankie Duran; loving siblings, Susanna, Dora, Concha, Annie, Presley and Juan.

Guadalupe was a natural nurturer who loved life.  She prayed and cared for her family every day.  She loved to cook, listen to music, dance and go to the casino.  When she gave a card to someone for a special occasion she always took the time to personalize each and every one.

Mom, our lives were forever changed by your presence and the love you gave us.  Heaven is also forever changed now that you are there.  The family would like to thank Heartland Hospice for their love and care of their mother, Lupe. The family would also like to acknowledge, Barbara Nelson, Ernestine Lucero, Emma Johnston, Larry and Nancy Valdez.

A visitation will be held Friday, April 13, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 8:30 a.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m.  Interment will follow services at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Edmund Trujillo Jr., Augustine G. Trujillo, Norman Trujillo Sr., Arcenio Madrid, Teddy Gonzalez and Steve Nelson.  Honorary Pallbearer will be Francisco Steven Nelson Jr.
