Helen Aragon

Helen (Hernandez) Aragon, age 86, born in Hondo, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on February 27, 2021. Mrs. Aragon is survived by her three children, Betty Perea and husband, Fred, Ida Grant and husband, Dave, Lucy Kowalchuk; sister, Lucy Montes; eleven grandchildren, Monica, Raymond, Stephanie, Renee, Eugene and wife, Angel, Angelica, Patricia and husband, Brian, Steven, Janis, Cassandra; twenty-two great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Aragon was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Aragon; sons, Raymond Aragon Jr., Eugene Aragon; grandson Randy Kowalchuk. Mrs. Aragon was a proud member of the Legion of Mary and The Catholic Daughters of America throughout the Catholic Community. A visitation will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 in The Gabaldon Memorial Chapel 1000 Old Coors Dr. S.W. with a Rosary to be recited by the Legion of Mary at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. March 10, 2021 at St. Josephs on the Rio Grande Catholic Church 5901 St. Josephs Dr N.W. Interment will follow the Mass at San Ysidro Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dave Grant, Fred Perea, Raymond Perea, Gene Ray Aragon, Steven Aragon, Damon Perea. Honorary Pallbearers will be all of her great-grandchildren.
