Henry Salas

Henry (Hank) Salas, age 79, born in Torreon, New Mexico and resident of Albuquerque, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2017 with his family by his side.  Mr. Salas was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sofie Salas, father Ross R. Salas, mother, Cora L. Salas and sister, Theresa Sanchez-Salas.  Mr. Salas is survived by his children, Robert Salas and Nancy Fischel; grandchildren, Jacob, Rachel, and Joseph Salas; daughter-in-law and mother of his grandchildren, June Salas; siblings, Jean Reed, Olivia Angus, Archie Salas, Ross Salas and Marlene Provance; half-sister, Christina Serraro and his loving girlfriend Mary Griego.
Visitation will be Friday, September 15, 2017 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW; with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.  Final visitation will be Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 7:15 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 7:30 a.m.   Interment will follow at Mount Calvary.  The family would like to invite anyone with a motorcycle to please join the funeral procession from the church to the cemetery
