Isabel Parra (Gutierrez) age 98, born in Chilili, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on September 12, 2024. Mrs. Parra is survived by her children; Pauline Clements and husband, Jim, Anthony Parra and fiancée, Priscilla Armijo, Steve Parra and wife, Lydia, Sylvia Tye and husband, Barney, James Parra and wife, Denita, Nicholas Parra, Joseph Parra and wife, Lorena; siblings; Annie Garcia, Jean Benavidez and husband, Gilbert, Joe Gutierrez and wife, Esther, Johnny Gutierrez and wife, Barbara; sisters in-laws; Estella Parra, Carmelita Parra, Sylvia Parra; brother in-law, Bernadino Parra and wife, Lori; seventeen grandchildren and thirty-one great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hilario Parra; parents; Juan and Pauline Gutierrez, great-granddaughter, Selena Sanchez, several siblings, and in-laws. Visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church 5415 Fortuna Rd NW on Monday, September 23, 2024, at 9:45 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 10:15 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Father Larry Brito presiding. A reception with the family will follow the Mass in Rosario Hall at Our lady of the most Holy Rosary Church. Interment is scheduled for 10:30am on Tuesday at the Santa Fe National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her husband, Hilario. Pallbearers will be Noah Parra, James Parra Jr., Robert Parra, Andrew Parra, Manuel Sanchez, and Joseph Tye. Honorary Pallbearers will be Damacio Brito, Eli Brito, Lorenzo Sanchez, Carlos Sanchez, and Angel Aispuro.
