Isidro (Sid) Silva, born in Mountainair, NM and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Friday, March 18, 2016. Mr. Silva is survived by his wife, Jackie;  children, Andrew Silva wife, Sarah, Annie Baca and husband, Eddie, and Rosa Silva;  sisters, Molly Medina, and Betty Olguin and husband, Bobby; grandchildren, Loretta, Desiree, Andreas, Brianna Kay, Lucas, Cienna, and Sophia; great-grandchildren, Jimmy and Ava; many brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  Mr. Silva was a member of the Catholic Church, a Veteran of the U.S. Army, during the Vietnam Era, serving in Vietnam and Korea, and was the Chaplin for Post 13.  Isidro was very involved with West Gate Little League and enjoyed all sports.  Visitation will be Wednesday, March 23, 2015 from 9:45 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW with a Rosary to be recited at 10:15 a.m. by Cathy Chavez; Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m.   A Committal Service is scheduled at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, Thursday,  March 24, 2016, at 3:00 p.m.  Pallbearers  will be Eddie Baca, Andreas Silva, Robert Ortega, Peter Silva, and Lanny Garcia.
