Joe L. Aragon, age 78, born in Grants, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away on July 27, 2021. Mr. Aragon is survived by his wife of thirty-seven years, Josefita (Delgado) Aragon; children, Leroy Aragon and wife Margie, Peggie Salazar, Jodene Aragon, Bibiana Delgado, Alexis and husband Anthony; Grandchildren, Nicole and husband, Salvador, Jeffrey and wife, Valeria, Nathan, Julie, Lucy, Leroy Jr. Celeste, Santana, Felicia, Michael lll, Aliana, Alivia, Amaya; twenty-one great-grandchildren; siblings, Clorinda Lucero and husband, Juan, Felix Aragon, Manuel Aragon and wife, JoAnne, Sophie Benavidez, Theresa DuBerry, Isabel Anaya. Joe was preceded in death by his mother Genoveva Aragon; daughter Valerie Aguilar; grandson, Jose Felipe Salazar. Pallbearers will be, Leroy Aragon Jr. Jeffrey Salazar, Nathan Salazar, Ricky Benavidez,Michael Aguilar III and Salvador Cepeda III . Honorary Pallbearers will be, Felix Aragon, Manuel Aragon, Leroy Aragon, Anthony Escudero. A Visitation for Mr. Aragon will be Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 6:30pm in The Gabaldon Memorial Chapel located at 1000 Old Coors Drive Sw 87121. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00pm. A Mass will take place Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 11:00am at San Martin de Porres Church located 8301 Camino San Martin SW 87121, with a Burial to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery located at 1900 Edith Blvd. NE 87102.
