Joe Gonzales

Joe A. Gonzales, age 88, born in Chama, New Mexico and a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away on October 6, 2020.  Mr. Gonzales is survived by his wife of sixty-nine years, Cordie; children, Rebecca Flores, Josie Montano and husband, Chris, Joseph David Gonzales; grandchildren; Lydia Flores. Chris Montano, Melinda Martinez and husband, Michael; great-grandchildren, Malachi, Dylan, Christopher, Joshua, Bella and Michael; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  He was preceded in death by his son, Samuel David Gonzales; siblings, Refugio Madrid, Florian Gonzales, Juan Gonzales, Lita Sanchez, Delfina Foster, Julia Anaya. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12, 2020 at the Evangel Christian Center 4501 Montgomery NE at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life, officiated by Pastor Brenton Franks at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow the service at Sandia Memorial Park Cemetery 9500 San Pedro NE. Pallbearers will be Chris Montano Sr., Chris Montano Jr., Malachi Montoya, Dylan Montano, Michael Martinez, Michael Frye.
