MARINO, JOE M., age 82, a resident of Albuquerque, Los Padillas neighborhood, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014. Mr. Marino is survived by his beloved wife of sixty -four years, Angie; children, Corene Moore and husband, John, Lucy Garcia, Bernice Apodaca and husband, Steve, Yvonne Sanders, Liz Marino, Julie Lovato and husband, Paul, Joseph Marino; daughter in law, Michelle Marino; sisters, Flora Uranga, Connie Jinzo; grandchildren Amy, Jeremy, Phillip, Ryan, Tony, Joshua, Kimberly, Chris, Joseph, Gabriel; nine great-grandchildren. Mr. Marino was preceded in death by his parents, Melquiades and Julianita Marino; brothers, Sam, Eli, and Alfonso; sister, Emma. Mr. Marino was a member of the Catholic Church, was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean Conflict and was retired from Kirtland Air Force Base. Joe enjoyed spending time with his family, playing bingo and keno at the casino. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 19, 2014 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel. Final visitation will be Friday, March 21, 2014 from 1:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with Mass of the Christian Burial to be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Isleta, NM.
