Joe Oliver Valdez

Joe Oliver Valdez, age 74, born in La Jara, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on November 7, 2024. Joe is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, JoAnn Valdez; children, Kristine Valdez-Baca and husband, Mario, Michael Valdez and Bryna Browning, Renee Valdez and Kenneth Sandoval; grandchildren, Dezideria, Joseph, Santiago, Anissa, Jacob, Nickolas; great-grandchildren, Layne, and Arabella; siblings, Bertha Sandoval, Mary Corrales, Yvonne Casaus, and Robert Valdez; several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, Miguel and Desideria Valdez, and sisters, Amelia Atencio and Edwina Valdez. Honorary Pallbearers are, Joseph Valdez, Santiago Sauceda, Jacob Frederickson, Nickolas Frederickson, Mario Baca, and Robert Valdez. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at 12:45 p.m. a Rosary will be recited at 1:00 p.m. with a Mass to follow at 1:30 p.m. all to take place at San Martin de Porres Chatholic Church located at 8301 Camino San Martin SW, Albuquerque, NM 87121.
