d. December 21, 2015John Vincent Chavez, age 56, born May, 30, 1959, and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Monday, December 21, 2015. Vince is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Chavez-Griego and husband, Fernando Griego, Danielle Chavez and fiance, Juan Estrada; his mother, Catalina Chavez; sisters, Mary Helen Lucero and husband, Ron, and Louann Mendoza; brother, Floyd Chavez; grandchildren, Fernando Vincente Griego, and Naylan Griego; special nephew, David Mendoza and wife, Jessica; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Vince was preceded in death by his father, Adonio Chavez. Visitation will be Monday, December 28, 2015 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at St. Edwin Catholic Church, 2105 Barcelona Rd. SW at 10:00 a.m., Father Bill Sanchez, presider.
