John Romero Sr.

John A. Romero Sr., age 79, born in La Joya, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully at his home on November 8th, 2020.  Mr. Romero is survived by his first wife Mary Stiegman, Daughter Loretta Saavedra and husband Michael, Son Tony Romero, Son Frankie Romero and Wife Dinah, Daughter Jacqueline Saavedra and husband Juanito, Son Adolph Romero, and wife Loretta, and Grandchildren, Nathan Romero, Jeffrey Maldonaldo,  Paul Saavedra, Amanda Rodriguez, Luke Romero, Ashley Saavedra, Johnathan Romero, Charles Romero, Brooke, Isabel, Janessa, Mariah, Pedro Jr., Shiloh, Eddie Luna, Michelle Romero, Pedro Apodaca, Channtel Apodaca;  Great-Grandchildren, James, Samuel, Amarise, Savannah, Steven, Johnny, Rosalie, and Great-Great Grandchildren, Aalina, Ayden, Acyen and several nephews and nieces, cousins and friends.  Johnnie was preceded in death by his parents Gregorio and Aurora Romero; siblings, Billy Romero, Euphemia Romero, Rose Sisneros, and Angie Maldonado.  John also enjoyed visiting with his brothers and sister, Pete Romero, Benny Romero, Dennis Romero, Charlie Romero, and sister Ramona Sanchez.  Johnnie loved playing his guitar, fishing, hunting, and going to the casino.  He would always find a way to make you laugh with a joke of some kind.  Johnnie will be greatly missed very much by all his family.  Due to Covid-19 services to be announced at a later date.
