                       STAPLETON, JOHN G., age 64, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away June 17, 2014.  John is survived by his wife for forty-one years, Darlene; daughters, Veronica Stapleton, and Jolene Duree and husband, Casey; sisters, Lorraine (Cookie) Valencia and husband, Tony, Gail Stapleton, and Joanna Stapleton; brother, Kenny Stapleton; grandchildren, Ezra and Xavier Duree; mother in law, Mary Lou Armijo; many brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. John served in the Venezuela Peace Corps and was an educator for fourteen years. He was the Director of Bilingual Education at Jemez Schools, a teacher at the American International School, on the French Rivera and at Taylor Middle School.  John was a Realtor for thirty years owning his own company, High Sierra Realty.  Visitation will be Friday, June 20, 2014 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd,. NW from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Private disposition will take place at a later date.
