Jose R. Balboa, age 77, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away April 4, 2017, with his loving family by his side. Mr. Balboa is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Raquel Balboa; children, Abigail Balboa Romero and husband John, Bilha Lucero and husband Joseph A. Lucero III; grandchildren, Noah Balboa Romero, Joshua Balboa Romero, Adam Balboa Romero: siblings, Adela Martinez, Emelia Villareal, Hermelinda Garza, Ezequiel Balboa, Exiquio Balboa, Fidel Balboa, Alejandra Balboa, Martha Crixell and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be Friday, April 7, 2017 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. S.W., with a Prayer Service to follow at 7:00 p.m.  Interment will be on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at Fairview Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Joe A. Lucero III, Noah Balboa Romero, Joshua Balboa Romero, Adam Balboa Romero, Exiquio Balboa, and Michael Lucero.
