Josefina Chavez De Baca

Josefina Chavez De Baca, age 87, born in Huejotitan, Chihuahua, Mexico, and resident of Albuquerque for fifty years, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2018.  Josefina is survived by her children, Esther Holguin and husband, Antonio, Guadalupe Valles, Refugio Valles and wife, Bertha, Martha Valles, Cruz Valles and husband, Octavio Barraza, Albert Valles and wife, Olaya, Vicente Valles and wife, Patricia Morales, Elizabeth Valles and husband, Hugo Cereceres, Josie Valles, Patricia Valles, Bertha Cardenas and husband, Alan, Victor Valles and wife, Jeanette Rubio, Salvador Valles and husband, Joel Zavala, Julie Valles and husband, Gerardo Munoz; siblings, Maria Elena Loya, Maria Mares, Lydia Aguilar, Trinidad Luna; eighty four grandchildren, twenty three great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.  Josefina was preceded in death by her husband, Guadalupe Valles; son, Miguel Valles; grandsons, Luis Carlos Valles, Edward Luis Ochoa and Alan Alonzo Valles.

A visitation will be held Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW; a final visitation will be held Friday, September 7, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, with a prayer service to be held at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow services at San Jose De Armijo cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Refugio Valles, Albert Valles, Vicente Valles, Victor Valles, Salvador Valles and Hugo Cereceres.
