BACA JR., JOSEPH (JOEY), age 28, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014.  Joey is survived by his parents, Joseph A. and Lillian Baca; the love of his life, Leah Vaisa; sons, Isaiah and Santos; grandparents, Ponciano and Candelaria (Lala) Lucero; aunts and uncles, Leo and Pricilla Gurule, Patricia Hampsten, Matthew and Phyllis Lucero, Santos Jr. and Kathy Baca, Conrad and Annette Maez, Steve and Nancy Chavez; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Joey was preceded in death by his grandparents, Santos and Mary Baca; and uncle, Isaac (Iceman) Sanchez.  Visitation will be Wednesday, October 22, 2014 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Church of the Ascension Catholic Church, 2150 Raymac Rd. SW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Gil Santistevan.  Final visitation will be Thursday, October 23, 2014 at the Church from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at Los Padillas Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ivan Ponce, Joel Ponce, John David Salazar, Gabriel Salazar, Aaron Vaisa, Mike Orona, James Williams and Hunter Torrez.  Honorary pallbearers will be Louie Ray, Steve Chavez Jr., Megan Marquez, Makayla Marquez and Alexis Funes.
