Joyce Abeita

Joyce Marie Abeita, age 73, born in Belcourt, North Dakota, and resident of Albuquerque, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2018. Mrs. Abeita is survived by her children, Katherine Abeita-Baca, MAJ Steven Abeita and wife, Erica, Kimberly Abeita and husband, Teddy Garcia; siblings, Lee Soward, Larry Dauphinais, David Dauphinais, Gerald Dauphinais; grandchildren, Marisa, Dakota, Ashley, Eric, Louie, Isaac, Dominic, Seferino, Sierra, Armando, Alexia; great-grandchild, Zyler. Mrs. Abeita was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph Abeita. A visitation will be held Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 71 Tribal Rd 35, with a Rosary to be recited at 11:30 a.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.   Pallbearers will be Louie Montano, SGT Isaac Abeita, Dakota Namoki, Marisa Montano, Ashley Cordry, Eric Cordry, Seferino Jojola.
