Juan E. Alderete, age 37, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away April 22, 2017 with his family by his side. Juanito is survived by his parents, Anthony and Mary Alderete; sister, Antoinette Alderete and James Nieto; nephew Diego Artiaga; nieces, Maya Artiaga, Alexsandra Nieto, Sophia Nieto, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Juanito was preceded in death by his grandparents, Manuel and Esther Gonzalez and Markie and Josephine Alderete. Visitation will be Monday, May 1, 2017 from 9:45 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5417 Fortuna Dr. NW, with a Rosary to be recited at 10:15 a.m.  Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Urn bearers will be Diego Artiaga and Charlie Alderete. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations to be made to the M.I.N.D. Institute at Giving - UC Davis Health, 4900 Broadway #1150 Sacramento, California, 95820.
