Juanita Ortiz

Juanita E. Ortiz, age 86, born in Derramadero, New Mexico, and resident of Albuquerque, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018. Mrs. Ortiz is survived by her children, Fernanda Harmon and husband, Dean, Gladys Robledo and husband, Juan, Richard Ortiz and wife, Sherri, Nina Ortiz, Phillip Ortiz and wife, Eva, Gerald Ortiz and wife, Diane, Patricio Ortiz and wife Corina; six sisters, Pauline Gurule, Bea Brooks, Lila Gonzales and husband Juan, Rita Chavez, Berlinda Garcia, Lucy Bibiano and husband, Leroy; brothers, Sal Garcia and wife, Vera, Sidro Garcia and wife, Susan; twenty-two grandchildren; thirty-nine great grandchildren, fourteen great-great grandchildren and many other extended family members.  Mrs Ortiz was preceded in death her parents, Agapito and Antonia Garcia; sisters Louisa Luna, Christine Storey, Louella Gauna; brother, Ray Garcia; daughter, Sophia Ortiz; and three grandsons. A visitation will be held Monday, October 29, 2018 from 6:30p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in The Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Drive, S.W.  with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church 562 Atrisco Rd. S.W. officiated by Father Jose Luis. with interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.   Pallbearers will Michael Ortiz, Jonathan Ortiz, Phillip Ortiz ll, Melecio Robledo, David Ortiz, Patrick Ortiz, Joshua Gutierrez; Honorary Pallbearers and all her grandchildren.
