Laurie Mora

Laurie (Tafoya) Mora, age 59, and a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away on January 4, 2021. Laurie is survived by her children, son, Victor Mora and fiancée, Heather, daughter Monique Mora, son Larry Mora Jr., daughter, Allison Morris; grandson, On the way; grandchildren, Larry, Leah, Alliyah, Alyssa, Alijah; siblings, MaryLou Serna, Connie Tafoya, Martin Tafoya, Flora Telles; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Laurie was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Mora, and brother, Richard Telles. Laurie was strong in her faith and loved the Lord. Her family would describe her as “an angel on Earth” and she loved her family and would do anything for them. Laurie was a light to everyone she met. She loved her pets, Jax and Mya, and considered them a part of her family as well. A graveside service will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery 1900 Edith Blvd NE on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. by Pastor Mike Schaefer where she will be laid to rest with her husband, Larry Mora. Pallbearers will be family members.
