  Louise M. (Sammons) Garcia, age 77, born in Cimarron, NM and a resident of Rio Rancho, NM passed away Saturday, May 23, 2015 at home with her family at her side.  Louise is survived by her husband of  fifty-seven years, Jerry Garcia;  children, Jim Garcia and wife, Annette, Beverly Lucero and husband, Ernie, Deborah Cooley, Janet Romero and husband, Nol; grandchildren, Michelle, Monique and husband, Aaron, Jamie and husband, Gene, Adam , and Chelsea; great-grandchildren, Elijah, Jeremiah and Uriah; sisters, Mabel Baca, Frances Garcia and husband, Rudy, and Judy Gallegos; many brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Louise was preceded in death by her grandson, Nicolas Cooley; brother, Gibb Sammons; and sister, Elsie Romero.  Visitation will be Friday, May 29, 2015 from 10:00 am until 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd., Rio Rancho, NM with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Vista Verde Cemetery, Rio Rancho, NM.
