Lucas Copley

Lucas Charles Copley, age 40, born in Minot, North Dakota and resident of Albuquerque, passed away April 14, 2018 with his family by his side.  Luke is survived by his parents, Michael and Jacqueline Copley; brother, Mathew Copley and wife, Carolyn; nephew, Elias; Cynthia Pevler; one grandmother and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  Lucas was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roger and Suzanne Copley, and Joaquin Gonzales. Lucas was a carpenter, a poet and a friend to many.  He played hard, worked hard and loved hard.  Luke is now a keeper of the stars and our guardian angel.  Be free, be at peace, we will never forget you, Lucas.  A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Risen Savior Catholic Church, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE Private interment to take place at a later date.
