Luciano Gomez, age 71, resident of Albuquerque, passed away Friday, April, 21, 2017 at home with his family by his side.  Mr. Gomez is survived by his partner, Maria Soto; children, Reyna Gomez, Sadie Stidstone and Estevan Arteaga, Luciana Gonzalez and husband, Mario, Luciano Gallegos and wife, Lucha; brothers, Juan Gomez and wife, Sofie, Danny Gomez; sisters, Dora Gonzales, Lucinda Ware and husband, David, Cecilia Saavedra and husband, Valentin; sixteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Abel Gandara and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mr. Gomez was preceded in death by her sister, Bernice Gandara; brothers, Speedy Gomez, Urbano Gomez, and Robert Gomez.  Visitation will be Tuesday, April 25, 2017, from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. S.W., with a Rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. Interment will be Saturday, May 6th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at San Miguel Catholic Cemetery in Socorro, New Mexico. Pallbearers will be Danny Gomez, Juan Gomez, Eric Gomez, A.J. Gomez, Ajdrian Gomez, Mario Gonzalez Jr., Mario Gonzalez Sr., and Thomas Stidstone.
