Luis V. Navarette, age 76, a man who touched the hearts of all who knew and loved him, and a resident of Albuquerque since 1959,  passed away peacefully, Thursday, May 14, 2015.  Luis is survived by his wife of almost fifty years, Eulalia; sons, Luis Ernesto Navarette and wife, Denise, Samuel Navarette and wife, Vanessa, and Thomas Navarette; daughters, Maria (Nena) Bolivar,  and Yolanda Bolivar and  husband, Rafael; grandchildren, Rocio Bolivar and husband, Carlos Campos, Miguel Bolivar Jr. and wife, Jennie, Patricia Bolivar, Gerardo Bolivar, Samantha Navarette, Jared Bolivar, Samuel (Nico) Navarette, Emma Bolivar, Sofia Navarette, and Kamila Navarette; great-grandchildren, Natalia Campos, Reyna Bolivar-Martinez, Angel Bolivar-Martinez, Cristian Campos , and Luciano Bolivar.  Luis was preceded in death by his son, George Eric Navarette; parents, Jesus and Josefina Navarette; and his infant granddaughter, Maricruz Bolivar. Visitation will be Sunday, May 17, 2015 at San Jose Catholic Church, 2401 Broadway SE from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.  Final visitation will be Monday, May 18, 2015 at the Church from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Luis Ernesto Navarette, Samuel Navarette, Rafael Bolivar, Miguel Bolivar Sr., Miguel Bolivar Jr., and Gerardo Bolivar.  Honorary pallbearers will be Jared Bolivar, Nico Navarette, Cristian Campos, and Luciano Bolivar.  The family would like to give special thanks to Gentiva Hospice,  to Jessica Sanchez , and Darlene Archibeque for their compassionate treatment and care.
