Margaret K. Widener, age 58, resident of Albuquerque, passed away Tuesday, July 05, 2016. Margaret is survived by her beloved husband and soul mate, Steven Widener; daughters, Jennifer Widener,  Michelle Griego-Widener and husband, Michael, Amanda Marie Widener and husband, Erik Ventura,  and Stephanie Widener and significant other, Derick Maines; sister-in-law, Juanita Widener; grandchildren, Maria, Selena, Stephen, Claudia, Jordynn and Gabriel; nephews, Hector, Joseph, and  Anthony; Nieces, Terri and Felicia; god-daughter, Sandra; her father, Raymond Mendez;  siblings, Nestor, Jacob and Armida; as well as several family members and friends.  Margaret was preceded in death by her mother, Estella Mendez; son, Steven Widener Jr.; and cousin, Jody Valencia. Visitation will be Sunday, July 10, 2016 in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel at Gabaldon Mortuary from 2:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 3:00 p.m. by Connie Orona.  Final visitation will be Monday, July 11, 2016 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with  Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. by Father Bob Campbell, O.Praem.  Pallbearers will be Hector Gomez, Joseph Acosta, Anthony Acosta, Michael Griego, Jacob Mendez, and Joseph Mendez.
