Margarito Baca, age 88, born in Manzano, NM and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Monday, February 01, 2016 at home with his family by his side.  Mr. Baca is survived by his son, Nash Baca and wife, Patricia;  daughter , Liz Miera and husband, Jay; his companion, Angie Gutierrez; sister, Angie Keene and husband, Bob; brothers, Edward Baca and wife, Arabella, and Phillip Baca and wife, Susan;  nine grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister in law, Sarah Baca; son in law, Eddie Madrid; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  Mr. Baca was preceded in death by his wife, Luz G. Baca; son, David Baca; daughter, Yolanda T. Madrid; parents, Jose M. and Epifania Baca; and brothers, Joe Baca. Candido Baca and Fidel Baca.  Mr. Baca was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during WWII.  Visitation will be Thursday, February 04, 2016 in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.   Final visitation will be  Friday, February 05, 2016  at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church, 5901 St. Joseph Place NW from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Jimmy Melendez, Joey Montano, David Mark Baca, Johnny Margarito Reyes, Bill Biehle, and Rubel Gallegos.  Honorary pallbearer will be Teddy Sanchez.
