Celina Chavez, age 91, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2023. She was born to Estanislada Gonzales and Manuel Baca in Sombrillo, N.M. She attended school in Santa Rosa. Celina is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Eutimio Chavez Jr., siblings Eduardo Baca, Stella Chavez, and Manuel S. Baca. She is survived by her daughter Betty Jo Chavez and numerous nieces, nephews and God Children. A Visitation will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023 at 8:00am with Rosary to be recited at 8:30am and a Mass to follow at 9:00am at Holy Family Catholic Church 562 Atrisco Dr. SW. with burial to follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery 2957 Arenal SW.
