Maria Tapia

Maria Tapia, age 50, and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on January 31, Maria worked for over 20 years at Lovelace medical center. She was loved and adored by many family, friends, coworkers and the patients she took care of.  Maria’s favorite place to be was at her families ranch in Pastura, New Mexico, her pride and joy were her kids, she loved them with all her heart and wanted nothing but the best for them and did anything she could for each of them. Maria’s parents most fond memories of her being a track star, going to nationals and traveling all over. Her children will always remember her as being the glue to their family. Maria was the type of person anyone could feel connected with in a short time. Most weekends you would find her at home playing pool and chess with her husband, she loved parties and always had welcoming arms to anyone who was in her home. She was always a hard worker and put others needs before her own. She touched all our hearts beyond words, leaving a void that can never be filled. A Mass for Maria will be held Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 9:00am at Saint Annes Catholic Church located at 1400 Arenal Rd SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105.
