Maria Torres

Maria Torres, age 85, born in Mora, New Mexico and resident of Albuquerque, passed away Friday, July 12, 2019.  Mrs. Torres is survived by her children, Doris Sanchez and husband, Tony, Elaine Sanchez and husband, Archie, Geraldine Gallegos, Joyce Gonzales and husband, John; grandchildren, Dorinda Wingenbach and husband, Chad, Naomi Sanchez and husband, Joseph, Jayson Sanchez and wife, Amanda, Jeffery Gonzales and wife, Fay, Robbyn Gallegos and husband, Louie, Melissa Gallegos and husband, Anthony, Jennifer Gonzales and husband, Matt, Justin Gonzales and wife, Sara, Ashley Garcia and husband, Fernando; great-grandchildren, Julian, Abigail, Israel, Oniecia, Kiana, Ayden, Liam, Sophia, Selah, Nathan, Ayzn, Amaya, Paisley, Tayli, Cipriano; siblings, Flora Vigil and husband, Joe, Rosalie Baros and Percy Baros.

Mrs. Torres was preceded in death by her son, Donald Garcia, great-granddaughter, Jayla Love; sister, Gema Lujan and brothers, Tony Baros, Nick Baros and Eloy Baros.

A visitation will be Tuesday, July 16, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Journey City Church, 409 Edmond NE, with a Funeral Service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Interment will take place Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Dorinda Wingenbach, Naomi Sanchez, Jayson Sanchez, Robbyn Gallegos, Melissa Gallegos and Julian Chagoya
