Martha L. Sanchez

Martha L. Sanchez, age 77, was called home to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 6, 2023.

Martha is survived by her daughters, Alicia Wright and husband, William, Julie Sanchez, grandchildren, Joseph Wright and Daniel Wright, sister Theresa Zemke and niece Michelle Zemke.

Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Sanchez, and her parents, Martha and Joseph Ross.

Martha was born in and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico where she lived her entire life. Martha was most proud of raising a family with her husband, Daniel, helping care for her grandsons and creating a loving and well-maintained home that was open and welcoming to family and friends where Martha enjoyed entertaining in her younger years. Martha was also proud of the time in her life where she was an active member of Holy Family Catholic Church, a place that Martha forever held near and dear in her heart. Her family is grateful for Holy Family Catholic Church opening their doors to her once again to lead her home.

Services will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Rd. SW. Visitation will be from 7:45 a.m. until 8:15 a.m. with a rosary to be recited at 8:15 a.m., and a Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Internment will follow services at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
