Mary C. Garcia, age 85, born in Los Chavez, New Mexico, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away April 24, 2017.  Mrs. Garcia is survived by her husband of sixty-six years, Diego Garcia; daughter, Rosemary Gonzales; son, Diego Joe Garcia; three sisters, Irene Vigil, Josie Saiz and husband, Paul, Dora Gonzales and husband, Joe; brother, Emilo Chavez Jr. and wife, Mabel; five grandchildren, Lisa Gabaldon, Jessica Marez and husband, Matthew, Monica Cruz and husband, Margo, Diego Garcia lll and wife, Madalena Garcia, Joseph Garcia; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Mrs. Garcia was preceded in death by her parents, Emilio and Tillie Chavez and many brothers and sisters.  Visitation will be Sunday, April 30, 2017 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.  in The Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Drive SW, with a Rosary to be recited by Mrs. Alice Chavez at 7:00 p.m.  Final visitation will be Monday, May 1, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m.   with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal Road S.W.  Interment will follow at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Belen, New Mexico.  Pallbearers will be Diego Garcia lll, Joseph Garcia, Margo Cruz, Margo Cruz Jr., Matthew Marez and Michael Garcia.  Honorary Pallbearers, Gabriel Marez, Mario Cruz, James Marez, Daniel Marez, Diego Garcia lV, Mychael Garcia ll, Marissa Vigil, Delysia Garcia, Analeya Garcia, Layla Gracia, KayLynne Garcia and Miley Garcia.
