Mary A. Griego, age 89, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Tuesday, September 01, 2015 at home with her family at her side. Mrs. Griego is survived by her beloved husband of sixty-three years, Gilbert Sr.; children, George Griego and wife, Shirley, Don Griego, Gilbert Griego and wife, Rosemary, Ann Chavez and Leroy Romero; brother, Rick Humphrey; grandchildren, Dionne, Daniel, Mari, Erik, John, Nick, Brian, Michelle, Abe, and Pam; great-grandchildren, Desiree, Jackie, Isabella, Timothy, Alyssa, Gabriel, Karissa, Dani, Ashlyn, A.J., Isaac, Brianna, Joseph, Jonathan, and Dalaina; one great-great-grandson, Jonah; many extended family and friends. Mrs. Griego was preceded in death by her parents, John R. and Rosa Humphrey; sisters, Dorothy, Emma and Grace; brothers, John, George, and Harry. Visitation will be Monday, September 07, 2015 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos Rd. NW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Deacon Manuel Montoya.   Final visitation will be Tuesday, September 08, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m., Father Joe Vigil, presider. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brian Chavez, Abe Chavez, Daniel Griego, John Griego, Nick Griego, and Erik Griego. Honorary pallbearers will be Dionne Griego, Michelle Chavez, Pam Chavez, Mari Griego, Dennis Narvaez, and Sean Humphrey. The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice, Clarice Apodaca, Valerie Lucero, and Normand Poulin, and her care giver, Flora Flores for their kindness and care.
