Mary I. Martinez, age 83, born in Cubero, NM and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully Monday, February 22, 2016 surrounded by her family. Mrs. Martinez is survived by her children, Leona Krivokapich and husband, Pete, William M. Brown and wife, Judy, Theresa Kennedy and husband, Michael, Ronald K. Brown and wife, Alejandra, Bernie Trissell and husband, Mike, James Brown and wife, Linda, Bobby Brown and girl friend, Sylvia; twenty five grandchildren; fifty-eight great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; best friend, Sally Campos; companions (pets), Milo and Mia; many other extended family and friends. Mrs. Martinez was preceded in death by her parents, Luz and Fidelia Apodaca; husband, Cruz Martinez; brothers, Charlie and Abel Apodaca; grandsons, Denitos Arenas, and Austin Arenas, and Eric Crawford. She loved family gatherings and adored her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She enjoyed going to garage sales, casino, dancing, music and was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan, and was a seamstress all of her life. A Tribute Service will be Friday, February 26, 2016 in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel at 12:00 p.m.
