Mary Magdalena Garcia

Mary Magdalena Garcia (Gutierrez), age 93, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on May 26, 2023. Mrs. Garcia is survived by her grandchildren, Susanne Garcia, Michael Garcia Jr.,Steve Olsen, Monica Trujillo and husband, Sammy, Alexandria Argo and husband, Davin; great-grandchildren, Brianna Jaramillo, Dominic Olsen, Matthew Metzger, Gabe Trujillo, Samantha Trujillo, Matthew Trujillo; great-great- grandchildren T.J. and, Xavier; sisters, Bessie Nieto and, Rosie Trujillo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar M. Garcia Jr., children, Mary R. Olsen and, Michael Garcia. Visitation will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church 562 Atrisco Dr. SW at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, June 5, 2023, with a Rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Father Patrick presiding. Interment will be held on Wednesday June 7, 2023, at 12:30 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery 501 N. Guadalupe St. where Mrs. Garcia will be laid to rest with her husband, Oscar.
