Mom was the last survivor on her side of her family and also the last survivor on our dad's side. Mom was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. She loved life. She knew no stranger. Everyone was always welcomed at her home and at her table. She always had to be busy, quilting, sewing, reading, word search, making puzzles, game shows on TV and she made everyone a crochet Kleenex box. Mom was a devout Catholic and a prayer worrier. She prayed the rosary every night up until the end and she would never miss mass on Sunday even if it was on TV. But most of all she loved God.
In her younger years mom taught catechism, her and my dad were majordomos at the old San Andres Catholic Church. She would clean the church and wash and iron the church's linen. Mom prayed for everyone. Mom was the "GLUE" that kept our family together.
She never wanted to hurt anyone and she loved everyone. She will be missed by many but she was tired and wanted to go home to the Lord.
