Mary Jane Smith, 83, born in Albuquerque, New Mexico and a life-long resident of Albuquerque passed away June 13, 2015. She is survived by her beloved sister, Christella Smith Trujillo, and her loving nephews; Eliseo (Sonny) Trujillo of Albuquerque, Louis Trujillo and wife, Gloria of Belen, NM, Reginald (Reggie) Trujillo and wife, Linda of Fairfax Station, VA, Robert Lopez and wife Betty Jo of Albuquerque. She has many other loving great and great – great nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her mother Maria Placides Smith-Huerta; three brothers, Charlie Huerta, Ruben, Leonard and George Smith. Ms. Smith is a graduate of Albuquerque High School and retired from a public service career with the State of New Mexico. Her entire life was dedicated to helping, giving and caring for her family, often times sacrificing her own well being and happiness. Our Aunt Mary Jane is an Angel who will forever be a part of our lives. She was a daily presence in the lives of her nephews by providing them love, care, and she was a member of the San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church. Visitation for Ms. Smith will Thursday evening, June 18, 2015 in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m..   Final visitation will be Friday, June 19, 2015 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the San Jose de Los Duranes Catholic Mission, 2110 Los Luceros, Road NW with Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m..   Pallbearers will be  Timothy Trujillo, Louis Trujillo Jr., Joshua Trujillo, Jonathan Lopez, John Anthony Lopez, and Robert Isacc Kolosseus. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
