Merlinda Mang

Merlinda R. Mang, age 76, lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018.  Mrs. Mang is survived by her beloved husband, Thomas Mang; mother, Grace Black; children, Bengy Maestas and wife, Therese, Richard H. Maestas, T.J. Mang and wife, Melanie; grandchildren, Brian Maestas, Jayden Mang, Jasmine Mang; brother, Ron Marquez and wife, Julia.  Mrs. Mang was preceded in death by her father, Howard Black; brother, David Marquez and daughter, Shanna Mang.   Merlinda was a graduate of Albuquerque Highschool in 1959 and retired from the United States Postal Service as a postal carrier. She was a member of the choir at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church and a member of the World Tavern Poker League.  She dedicated all her time to her grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, April 18, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW with a Rosary to be recited at 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. Private disposition to be held at a later date.
