Michael Joseph Moya, age 55, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Monday, February 6, 2017 in Phoenix, Arizona with his wife and mother by his side. Mr. Moya is survived by his wife of twelve years, Carla; his babies, Bobo and Zoe; mother, Barbara; brothers, Andres and wife, Maria, Gilbert and wife, Pat, John and partner, Debbie; sister, Sylvia Olivieri and husband, Jess; Father in-law and Mother in-law Joe and Ramona Chavez; brothers in law, Lawrence Chavez and wife, Jennifer, Gilbert Chavez and wife, Jennifer, Herman Chavez and wife, Julie; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Mr. Moya was preceded in death by his brother, Arthur Moya and his father, Paul Moya.   Michael loved life and went out of his way to help other people.  He enjoyed military and political history, collecting watches, and he will be greatly missed.  Visitation will be Monday, February 13, 2017 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church, 2005 N. Plaza NW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by  Deacon Tom Perez.  Final visitation will be Tuesday, February 14, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Jess Olivieri, Lawrence Chavez, Gilbert Chavez, Herman Chavez, Phillip Meek, Jimmy Meek. Honorary pallbearers will be Claudio Sanchez, Dennis Sanchez, Raymond Valdez.
