Miguel E. Oropeza

Miguel E. Oropeza, age 91, went to his forever home on February 17, 2023, peacefully at home.  Miguel was born in Hayden, Arizona on May 8^th, 1931.

He is preceded in death by wife, Cesaria Galaviz-Oropeza, daughter, Olga Castillo-Oropeza and eight siblings of which he is the final one.  He is survived by his son, Miguel A. Oropeza, two daughters, Virginia Campos and Vilma Oropeza-Sanchez.  He has many wonderful grandchildren, great grandchildren as well as two great-great grandchildren.

Miguel was a very loving, giving and hardworking man, not only for his family, but also for his friends.  His friends would always say “Mike would take the shirt off his back for you and when you called for help, he showed up ready.”  He was the life of the party. 

When he moved to New Mexico, he enjoyed basking in the warmth of the blue skies with his family and he would say “dame un cerveza or poquito de vino!”  We loved you so much and you will remain forever in our hearts.
